Fee Structure - Hampden Tax Consultants Limited

When we take on a new client, we agree a basic fee in advance for the work to be done in preparing and filing the annual Tax Return and arranging for the resulting liability or refund to be paid or recovered, as the case may be. This fee will cover occasional advice on related topics and remain at a similar level, subject to adjustments for inflation, provided the content of the return does not vary markedly from year to year.

However, as an incentive, we offer to limit the fee, for the first year’s compliance work, to not more than 50% of the amount paid to the previous advisor for the prior years’ corresponding compliance work.

Additional fees will be charged when exceptional work is required, eg on an enquiry by the Revenue, a request for estate planning, or advice on a change of residence or domicile, and a budget will be agreed before the work is done.
