Strong 2019 result of +8.8% against a previously advised mid-range forecast of -1.1%. QBE said this reflects the conclusion of their year end reserving exercise which saw an improvement in the anticipated prior year development from that advised previously, coupled with their normal year end reallocation of reserve margin.
