QBE commented:
"The 2017 and prior years has seen a small deterioration in its mid-range profit forecast from +15.0% of capacity to +14.5%, which is due to increased claims activity on closed years largely offset by an improvement in year to date investment performance relative to plan."
"The 2018 pure year is projected at a mid-range profit of +9.0% of capacity versus +6.3% previous due to an improvement in the net ultimate loss ratio."
