QBE commented:
"The 2017 and prior years has seen a deterioration in its mid-range profit forecast from +14.5% of capacity to +13.6% due to increased claims activity, partially offset by continued improvement in year to date investment performance relative to plan.
The 2018 pure year is projected at a mid-range profit of +9.0% of capacity remains unchanged from previous."
