Hampden has been operating funds for institutional investors since 2015 using a number of different structures to suit each individual investor’s requirements. In addition to our in depth knowledge of potential structures, we have extensive experience of on boarding many different types of institutional investor into the Lloyd’s market. We know how to make it as easy and quick as possible for our clients. Once the fund as been set up, we take on the responsibility for the portfolio selection and ongoing capital management as the General Partner of the fund.
Investors can provide an existing asset they currently hold as the collateral for supporting their underwriting and thereby generate a secondary return on that asset. They continue to receive dividends or coupons, can vote where relevant and trade those assets. This flexibility has proven extremely attractive to a number of Hampden’s clients.
