James St John Davis

James has been in the Lloyd’s Market since 2011 after research and advisory roles in the UK Parliament. He has responsibility for governance, risk management and regulatory compliance across Hampden Capital, providing oversight of a spectrum of risk bearing activities and other core risks including prudential, regulatory and conduct risk, with controls and governance established for each area. James manages Market-facing and external relationships with Regulators in the UK, EU and abroad. James a non-underwriting Working Member of Lloyd’s and an elected Member of the City of London Corporation where he sits on the Finance and Audit and Risk Committees, as well as working on interfaith, culture and civic engagement.
